THE SILVERTIP, Restaurant, Wildlife Photo Gallery and Vacation Rental is located at 505 Scott Street, Gardiner, MT., THe north entrance and the original entrance to the gem of the national parks system, Yellowstone National Park, (http://www.nps.gov/yell/) We are located next door to the popular FLYING PIG RAFTING AND ADVENTURE COMPANY, and within a very short walking distance to three other rafting/adventure companies in the area (Montana Whitewater, Yellowstone Raft Co.,and Wildwest Rafting. After a day in the park, rafting, fishing or horseback riding, THE SILVERTIP is a great place to cool off. Outdoor decks on the front and rear of the building provide a relaxing place to eat, snack or just relax. THE RESTAURANT serves slow smoked pork, chicken and beef BBQ. Special items are occasionally included on day to day basis. These items include baby back ribs, pork tenderloin to name a few. Montana made, Wilcoxsens ice cream and ice cream treats are featured for after dinner snack or after a hot day in the park or a day rafting. Other items in the store include snacks, cold drinks, and wireless high speed internet. Indoor seating is available as well as outdoor dining or relaxing on decks in the front or overlooking the Yellowstone RIver in the rear. THE WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHIC GALLERY consist of wildlife photography primarily from the Yellowstone area. From the big guys, like grizzly bears and wolves to the smallest and cutest of Yellowstone's creatures are featured in the gallery. In addition to Yellowstones furry residents and landscapes, photographs from other parts of the country and the world are also on display. Photographs are offered for sale in a whole array of prices and sizes. As the photographer of the house, I can offer the latest on wildlife sightings and other viewing opportunities in and around the park. NEW FOR 2008 SEASON, THE SILVERTIP will be offering a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment for vacation rental. The unit has two queen beds, one twin, a trundle pullout and a large pullout sleeper sofa. Includes wi-fi high speed internet and satellite tv. Discounts will be available in the store to apartment residents. Call or email for availability, rates and reservations. Hurry though, park accomodations are limited and lodging space fills fast. Cancellation Policy (Total amount of the cost is due at the time of reservation. However, room cost will be fully refunded if cancellation is made up to 60 days in advance of the trip date. If cancellation occurs 30-60 days in advance you will be refunded 50% of your total payment. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to trip date will not be refunded. You are welcome to change the date of your trip up to 30 days prior pending availability.
